Carolyn Hauser, RCT, EMDR Consultant in Training

Carolyn Hauser is a Registered Counselling Therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant with extensive experience supporting adults with trauma, complex PTSD, and co-occurring mental health concerns. Her clinical work is grounded in a relational, attachment-informed, and integrative approach, with a particular focus on helping clients and clinicians navigate complex presentations and nervous system-based trauma responses.

Carolyn is excited to offer consultation to EMDR-trained therapists seeking guidance in administering the standard EMDR protocol, treatment planning, and case conceptualization. She brings a depth-oriented lens to consultation, supporting clinicians in working thoughtfully and effectively with complexity, dissociation, and layered trauma histories.

She has completed several advanced EMDR trainings, including the FLASH Technique and the Early Childhood Protocol, and has participated extensively in Sandra Paulsen’s NEST series, a model specifically designed to support EMDR treatment planning for complex cases. Carolyn has a special interest in working with clients who present with C-PTSD, dissociative features, and comorbid conditions, and she is passionate about helping clinicians build confidence and clarity in this work.

Through MITI, Carolyn provides practical, attuned, and clinically rigorous consultation, supporting therapists as they deepen their EMDR practice with complex clients.
